Sulphur Dell Ballpark
Jackson Street

Mayor Karl Dean and the Nashville Sounds broke ground Monday at the new Sulphur Dell ballpark, a $150 million sport facility on the north side of town. Sounds owner Frank Ward said “Next year Nashville baseball will return home here to Sulphur Dell.”
A mixed space of shopping, restaurants, and parking garages, along with the new ballpark, will be constructed over the next year where parking lots, greenway, and unused land are now. The ballpark will sit in the center of what is now 4th Avenue North between Jackson Street and Harrison Street, just east of Bicentennial mall.
“Not only was this the only feasible option, but as a baseball fan who alos loves history, I really felt that no site was more special here than Sulphur Dell, the historic home of baseball in Nashville, ” said Mayor Dean. Renderings of the proposed plan were revealed late last year when Metro Nashville Council approved construction of the stadium. The $65 million ballpark is expected to be open in time for the 2015 season.

According to the Oxford Dictionary a penthouse is defined as “an apartment on the top floor of a tall building, typically luxuriously fitted and offering fine views.” This definition does not do justice to these glamorous residences, the ultimate luxury living to accommodate the high standards expected from a penthouse purchaser.

Over the years, the term “penthouse” has definitely evolved. Penthouse units are now considered to be high end luxury living units on a high level- but not necessarily the very top floor of the building.

This Penthouse is located in Tennnesse’s tallest residential building, The Viridian on the 30th floor and is a “ONE of a kind.”

Viridian is located in the heart of Downtown Nashville, surrounded by a thriving business and entertainment district. Exciting performing and visual arts venues, sports, dining and the Best of Nashville’s nightlife are only steps away.

“Voted Best Place to Live Downtown” by Nashville Scene reader’s poll 2008.
